Soulful Steps is a Toronto dance entertainment company with
over a decade of experience creating performances and lessons
for weddings and corporate events. From choreographing a
couple's first dance to bringing energy to a company
celebration, we make every moment memorable.
Our performances are stories danced in front of your eyes.
Each colourful piece is inspired by Toronto's vibrant multicultural
community. With Persian and Latino roots of our own,
we fuse Bollywood with Latin styles like salsa, flamenco,
cha-cha, and bachata. We love celebrating with clients
from South Asian, Latino, and many other backgrounds.
The styles we dance:
Our signature style. We blend the joyful storytelling, expressive hands, and big energy of Bollywood with the rhythm and partnering of Latin dance, creating something that feels both familiar and brand new.
Born from Cuban rhythms and shaped in the dance halls of New York, salsa is elegant, playful, and full of spins. With graceful partnering it's the one that keeps every eye on the floor.
From the Dominican Republic, bachata is smooth, romantic, and close. Its gentle sway and connection make it a favourite for first dances and heartfelt moments.
A flirty Cuban classic, named for its signature "cha-cha-cha" triple step. Cheeky, crisp, and full of personality, it brings a spark of fun to any celebration.
Rooted in southern Spain, flamenco is passion you can hear: sharp hand claps, and dramatic lines. It adds intensity and elegance to our storytelling.
